Construction Management
The Construction Management section is responsible for the contract administration of construction projects, including the management and inspection of construction activities and projects in the public right-of-way, in City owned property, City-owned buildings, and facilities. One of the major functions of this section is managing the implementation and construction of the City’s Capital Improvement Program. This section also ensures compliance with California Government Codes, California Public Contract Laws, and Federal and State Laws relating to Prevailing Wage Regulations, Disadvantaged Business Participation, and Equal Opportunity Employment Practices.
