The Signs and Markings Section is responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of traffic control signs, pavement markings, crosswalks, curb markings, street name signs and roadway striping. City staff and contract services perform the maintenance efforts. The objective is to provide preventative maintenance and replacement of street signs to ensure adequate reflective and visibility, and provide safe, well-maintained painted pavement markings.
