All temporary waste bins or roll-off bins are administered by the City of Costa Mesa. A $40 permit is required prior to placing a temporary waste bin in the street or public ROW and provides a two-week permitted time frame to store the bin. A permit is not required for waste bins placed on private property. A temporary dumpster permit can be obtained by the following:
