Costa Mesa boasts one of the premiere gymnastics training centers in the world. The Gym-Max Academy produced 20% of the Fierce Five gold-medal women's gymnastics team in Kayla Ross. Kayla is the youngest member of the Fierce Five. She helped the USA win the team gold medal with high scores on the balance beam and uneven bars.
