Need a new lawn mower?  The South Coast Air Quality Management District's Annual Lawn Mower Exchange Program is NOW open and you could save 50 to 75 percent off the price of a new electric mower.  It is easy to participate but pre-registration is required as quantities are limited. 

Orange County residents can register via phone or online to claim a spot for the June 28 Lawn Mower Exchange event at Angel Stadium in Anaheim.

Just bring your working gas-powered lawn mower and exchange it for a big discount on a new high performance, cordless electric mower.  Electric models are more than 50 percent quieter than a traditional gas-powered mower, environmentally friendly and lighter for easier operation.  Choose from five models starting at only $100.

Exchanging a mower is easy and convenient, only a 10-15 minute process without even needing to leave your car.  Gas-powered mowers must be in working condition and only one mower per household can be exchanged.
