Thank you for your interest in our Costa Mesa Parks! The City of Costa Mesa operates and maintains 30 different parks, of which 21 are available for park reservation permits. Park reservations are subject to availability and can be booked up to a year in advance.

To complete a reservation, it must be done in person at City Hall since it is a first come, first paid service. If you would like to move forward with the park reservation permit process, please make an appointment under “Park Rental”. Please note, making an appointment online does not guarantee the proposed reservation, which must be made in person.

Items to bring for Park Reservation appointment:

1. Proof of residency is required to receive resident rate. (Current Government issued I.D.*) 

*If your ID does not state a Costa Mesa resident address, one of the additional documents will also be needed:

  • Current lease agreement
  • Current gas, electric, water, or waste management bill

2. Form of Payment

  • Cash
  • Check (MUST have name and address of payer)
  • Credit Card (3% non-refundable processing fee applied from 3rd party system)

Park location/date/amount of attendees are subject to change upon staff review and park availability. Events may require additional permits depending on the usage request.
