According to the Orange County Fire Authority, there were 95 total drownings in Orange County alone last year, 34 of which were fatal. The City of Costa Mesa’s Parks & Community Services is partnering with City of Costa Mesa’s Fire & Rescue, Hoag Hospital’s Project Wipeout, Stop Drowning Now, the Orange County Drowning Prevention Task ForceSwim up Hill, and the Balboa Yacht Club to bring a summer full of water safety content to keep you and your family safe.
