The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is staffed by detectives and a Community Services Specialist under the supervision of a Detective Sergeant. This unit handles specialized investigations into narcotic, vice, street criminal and gang related offenses, as well as other special investigative functions and intelligence information gathering.
